Experience the unique Canadian Shield wilderness canoeing the endless connection of waterways...
"...how insignificant and transient man is compared with the omnipotence
and permanence of nature. Sightings of moose, bear, otter, eagle or osprey still
thrill me, and I am awestruck on the occasional glimpse of a lynx. I am continually
amazed at how happy and content I can be, traveling in the wilderness with only
the equipment a canoe can carry... Here I am free to contemplate, enjoy and
absorb the peace and serenity which wilderness bestows." Shan Walshe, Naturalist of Quetico Park
We offer guided/self-guided canoe or kayak trips with full or partial outfitting
along the US/Canadian border lakes, into Quetico Provincial Park (a world renowned
wilderness canoeing park) through the Southeast boundary, and East of Quetico
in the Northern Lights Lake area. The guided trips include an experienced and
knowledgeable guide, full equipment outfitting, gourmet food and maps. All you
need to bring is yourself and your personal things. We also offer specialty
trips such as womens trips. We limit the number of guests to 4 so that we have less impact on the environment
and each guest gets individual attention for instruction and safety. You can
choose to tent out or stay in a cozy cabin on a private lake for your first
and last night of the trip. We can also arrange all transportation and accommodations
when you book a trip. An experienced guide (native and/or non-native) will share
their knowledge about pictographs (native rock paintings), botanical, historical,
geographical and cultural points of interest.
