Requirements and considerations when booking a guided/outfitted trip,
renting equipment, participating in an ecotour or instructional activity.
- All participants are required to sign, read and understand an assumption of risk waiver acknowledging the inherent risk involved in our wilderness adventures before the trip begins.
- We recommend that participants acquire cancellation, property and medical insurance before participating in any activities.
- To secure a space on one of our trips we require that all participants fill out a registration form (includes health and medical information, dietary info etc) and send it along with a deposit of 25% of the trip cost at the time of booking. The balance of the payment is due 30 days before the trip begins.
- Deposits are non-refundable but they are transferable to another trip in the event of cancellation.
- All participants must sign an agreement to cover the costs of any damage to equipment caused by negligent use or abuse at the time of return (similar to car rentals).
- Each participant must agree to learn safety and basic instruction in the operation and care of boats and equipment.
- Participants must agree to follow Park regulations and pay appropriate fees when entering Quetico Provincial Park.
